Ken Mulder

President

KenMulder-Huron-Pointe-board

Ken was elected President this year. He has lived in Huron Pointe since 2011. He has a Formula 330SS that flies a hunter orange Coors Light flag when anchored, feel free to stop by and say hi if you see him on the water. He's a civilian employee for the US Army as an electrical engineering technician. He's a big Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bears fan but he’ll root for the Tigers as long as they aren’t playing the Cubs. He's always busy with family and friends or playing softball, hockey, golf, bowling, or fishing.

My family has lived in this community since 1978. As a kid I enjoyed boating, skiing and all that this area has to offer. In 2016 my wife and I built a home on Huron Pointe so that we can share these experiences with our children. I have volunteered to be on the board so that I can help to see this neighborhood grow and flourish. I have worked at FCA for 24 years as a Machinist and enjoy doing projects around the house. My latest creation is making Adirondack chairs out of old wooden water skis. Please feel free to contact me with concerns or issues regarding the neighborhood and I will help to the best of my ability.

My husband John and I have lived in Harrison Township nearly 30 years and have built 2 homes here with our current one on Lakeshore Drive.  We love boating and being on the water which is why this community means so much to me.  I recently retired from General Motors after 38 years in the Marketing and Advertising field.  With more time available to me, I wanted help ensure our beautiful waterfront community thrives.  We have a son who will soon be graduating from our alma mater, Kettering University.  I am also a volunteer puppy raiser for Leader Dogs for the Blind and am currently raising my 7th puppy, Future Leader Dog Millie.  If you see us walking or running errands around town, stop us to say hi!

I've lived in Huron Pointe since January, 1985. I've worked within our community on various efforts since then and became a trustee in 2016. After 42 years, I retired from AT&T in 2012. I enjoy hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and time with my family and the grandkids.

Joe Raymon

Trustee

I recently retired from the automotive industry, having worked in IT for finance, logistics and manufacturing. Now we enjoy family, friends, spending time boating, fishing and hunting along with some travel around the US and Canada. I also enjoy special projects from rebuilding my fishing boat to remodeling a bathroom.

My wife and I have been part of this community since the mid 1980’s. We actually docked our boat on Circle Drive for nearly 10 years while living in Grosse Pointe. In addition, my in-laws (Joan and Richard Fachini) have lived on Circle Drive since 1981. Upon retirement in 2017 we decided to move to 38040 Huron Pointe where we could enjoy boating from our back yard throughout the summer.

I retired from the Automotive Industry after 40 years where I performed a variety of roles from Draftsman, Sales, Director, General Manager and Entrepreneur. Graduated from Northwood University in 1993 after attending night school at Selfridge ANGB for 7 years. In addition to boating I enjoy working on projects for our rentals and still do some Consulting part time. My wife (Marie) and I have been married for 35 years and have 2 adult children.
